#Be A Giver School Supply Drive

Thank you for participating in Denver Human Services' #BeAGiver School Supply Drive!

Over the years, donors like you have helped provide backpacks to thousands of vulnerable students in the Denver community. This year, we hope you are healthy and well, and are very grateful to have your continued support during this difficult time.

There are THREE (3) ways you can help:

1) Register here to “adopt,” or sponsor, a specific student(s) and then go shopping especially for them! Register to donate by July 31.

2) Donate general school supplies - Help DHS fill backpacks by donating school supplies and backpacks, which will be distributed to families served by child welfare, homeless outreach, veteran services and family assistance programs at DHS.

Please see below the attached "Needed Supplies and Wish Lists" PDF, or visit denvergov.org/GIVE, to access a list of the items our students need most, which includes head phones and earbuds this year in addition to standard school supplies so students can stay focused as they continue online schooling in the fall.

Unfortunately there will not be a physical drop-off location/time for general school supplies. Supplies can be sent from Amazon, Walmart, or any preferred delivery service, directly to DHS at the following address:

Denver Human Services
Attn: Bryn Daly CORE
1200 Federal Blvd
Denver, CO 80204

A tax receipt will be sent immediately after receiving the donation.

3) Make a Monetary Donation - Let us do the shopping for you! All monetary donation links are down across city agencies, so monetary donations must be by check. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience. Please send all checks to the address above, and please make the check out to Denver Human Services' Manager of Finance with the memo line: #BeAGiver School Supply Drive.

Thank you so much for helping our students in need start school on the right track. We appreciate you, and together, we've got this!
